Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Board Game Kickstarter Coming in May - Hardcore Gamer
With the official Monster Hunter World board game currently shipping out to players around the world from its Kickstarter success, the team known as Steamforged Games was thrilled to announce their next project; even more Monster Hunter! Given all the positive reception they felt it was meant to be that they continue onto the next big adventure for Monster Hunter with not any sort of expansion but rather an entirely new standalone entry focused on the Iceborne extension seen for the original Monster Hunter World. This will bring a new setting, new monsters and even new mechanics for fans of the original board game to look forward to! Right now the only monster to be officially teased is Rajang, the beloved electric beast of terror that won’t hesitate to crush its opponents into the ice. It’ll be exciting to see even more, but we’ll have to wait until the launch in May to get more details!
