Minisforum has further detailed its upcoming V3 3-in-1 tablet which will incorporate a flagship Ryzen 8000 APU with dual-fan cooling.
The company has already talked about its upcoming V3 3-In-1 tablet extensively without diving into the details of the AMD Ryzen APU that will be powering it. Now, we know that Minisforum is going to target the 28W performance mode of this chip using an upgraded dual-fan cooling design that's going to sustain the full wattage of the chip running under peak load. The device will have several vents on the back and the sides to blow hot air out but the Ryzen 8000 "Hawk Point" APU featured within the tablet should run optimally.
Minisforum also details that the screen will be a 14-inch panel running up to 2.5K resolution at a 165 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, you will be getting the V3 3-In-1 tablet in 16 GB & 32 GB LPDDR5 flavors, running at up to 6400 MT/s speeds. For storage, the device will utilize a 2280 M.2 NVMe SSD storage solution but the company advises against manual replacement of the storage solution to retain screen integrity. So while it is possible, accessing the storage device and any damage caused by doing so will not be covered under warranty.
