If you like small, powerful iPhones you're officially out of luck. Apple killed off the iPhone 13 mini on Tuesday, the last remaining version of its iPhone mini line. The third-generation Apple iPhone SE remains on sale and is your next smallest option, though it's significantly less powerful and less modern (dare we say dated?) than its stablemates.
Apple first introduced the iPhone mini as a compact version of its larger devices. The iPhone mini 12 debuted in 2020 and the iPhone 13 mini followed a year later. The biggest feature of the mini was its small stature. It had the design language of the iPhone 12 and 13 lines, but with a compact 5.4-inch display that allowed the device to measure just 5.28 by 2.53 by 0.29 inches (HWD) and weigh a mere 4.76 ounces. The iPhone 15 Pro Max leads the pack with a starting price of $1,199, with the iPhone 15 Pro following at $999, the iPhone 15 Plus at $899, and the iPhone 15 at $799. The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are still for sale at $699 and $799, respectively, as is the iPhone 13 for $599. Bringing up the back of the pack is the iPhone SE for $429, which is the smallest of the bunch at 5.45 by 2.65 by 0.29 inches and 5.09 ounces.
