Minecraft has released a new Kung Fu Panda DLC, bringing players content based on the popular DreamWorks franchise. Minecraft has a significant history of collaborations with famous pop culture names that got the blocky treatment. The DLC released by Mojang includes Minecraft collaborations with other games and names outside the gaming world.
Mojang released a variety of DLCs last year for Minecraft, adding content from Jurassic World, Dungeons and Dragons, and even turning players into characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender. But Minecraft's team-up list goes on, with the game having DLCs based on Star Wars, Minions, Mega Man X, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Even the Godzilla franchise wasn't left out of the beloved sandbox and got DLC earlier this year. Now, Minecraft is getting yet another crossover DLC, and the collaboration involves another fan-favorite name from the movies.
Minecraft has released a new DLC in collaboration with the Kung Fu Panda franchise that players can purchase for 1500 Minecoins (around $8). In this newest DLC, Minecraft players explore an adventure map and train with the charismatic protagonist Po, Master Shifu, Zhen, and the Furious Five. Minecraft players will train and climb the stairs of the Jade Palace, and attend the ancient dumpling-eating ceremony in Panda Village. The Kung Fu Panda DLC promises co-op action, combat reproducing scenes from the movies, and encounters with even more famous characters in Minecraft form.
Minecraft players explore the map of the Kung Fu Panda DLC to return ancient artifacts to the Hall of Warriors, but the task won't be easy. While players will have Po and his friends as allies, they will encounter the dangerous villain Lord Shen and other antagonists such as Tai Lung and General Kai.
