A Minecraft fan has used Blender to create an incredible animation of a Wither destroying a village. Villages have been a staple of Minecraft since it launched, but this animation adds a dark twist to the point of interest by having a boss attack it.

The Wither is a Minecraft boss mob added to the game with update 1.4.2. This boss can be summoned by placing Soul Sand in the same shape as a Minecraft Iron Golem. Players will need four Soul Sand pieces to make this shape, and three Withered Skeleton skulls to place on top to activate it, akin to the Jack-o-Lantern requirement for the Golem. This boss cannot be summoned in the Peaceful mode, and it provides more of a challenge in the Hard difficulty compared to the others.
