This twin-pack of Amiibo figures is a must-have for Metroid Dread fans.
By Steven Petite and Darryn Bonthuys on
Metroid Dread's Amiibo two-pack is on sale for its lowest price ever at Best Buy. You can grab the set for just $13, down from $30. We'd expect this offer to sell out before the sale actually ends. If you don't have the game, you can pick up a physical copy of Metroid Dread for only $40 at Walmart.
The only downside to this Amiibo deal is that you need to hit $35 to get free shipping from Best Buy--unless you're a My Best Buy Plus/Total member, in which case you get free shipping on all orders. That said, you could order online for in-store pickup, if you're local Best Buy still has the Dread Amiibo in stock.
Like other Amiibos, these figures can be used to gain an edge in the game by tapping them on your Switch console and activating the NFC feature of the console.
Nintendo Switch OLED Super Smash Bros. Bundle
$349 ($418 value)
In Metroid Dread, scanning the Samus Amiibo will give you an extra energy tank to increase your health by 100 and a once-daily top-up of health. Scan the E.M.M.I Amiibo, and Samus gets an increase to her supply of missiles.
Multiple of Nintendo's most notable holiday deals are still available at select retailers in the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You can grab the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch OLED bundle for $349 at Amazon. You can also pick up the Super Mario Party Joy-Con bundle at Amazon, which comes with a pair of brand-new red and blue controllers and a digital copy of the fun party game. The Switch OLED console bundle and Joy-Con bundle are available at Best Buy, too--in case you want to buy one to take care of the shipping cost dilemma on the Amiibo.
