Fresh down the track after the ongoing success of Train Sim World, Ultimate Games are bringing Metro Simulator 2 to Xbox, after a rulmost a year on PC where it received mixed reviews on Steam.
It might look a little more sparse than Dovetails popular Trian Simulator, but we can’t wait to see if the hustle and bustle of the underground and the realsitic cabs prove competition for Metro enthusiasts.
Metro Simulator 2 is set to debut on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in 2024, as announced by Ultimate Games S.A. Metro Simulator 2 is a realistic and relaxing simulator with faithfully reproduced subway realities and train control mechanics. The game has already been released on PC and Nintendo Switch and will also be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2024.
Metro Simulator 2 was created by KishMish Games, a studio known for well-reeived games such as Bus World and Fly Corp. The simulator was first released on PC in June 2023.
The title from KishMish Games is a unique game featuring subways and trains in the main roles. Metro Simulator 2 stands out primarily for its faithful reproduction of the subway itself and the mechanics of train control.
The simulator allows players to become subway train drivers. The title offers both a free play mode and prepared scenarios with set schedules, which include predetermined conditions and situations. In Metro Simulator 2, players will find a total of 2 trains with different control systems, as well as a subway with 24 stations and various tunnels and objects.
The developers have also prepared an advanced speed control system, which helps prevent potential collisions or other undesirable incidents. In Metro Simulator 2, players must also monitor the speedometer and traffic lights, among other things, to ensure a safe ride.
