The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's new Falcon has discussed what is next for him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series was the second entry in the string of original live-action shows that streamed exclusively on Disney+ throughout 2021, immediately following the smash hit WandaVision. It followed the exploits of Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier and Anthony Mackie as Falcon as they navigated the world of post-Blip extremism and discovered the existence of a new super-soldier serum. The series ended with a huge shakeup for the MCU, in which Falcon took on the mantle and the shield of Captain America.
One of the most memorable new characters in the series was Joaquín Torres played by Danny Ramirez. He is a first lieutenant in the Air Force and was assigned to assist Falcon during his mission in the series' opening episode. They formed a bond over the course of the series, and when Falcon fully embraced his new identity as the next Captain America, he let Torres hold onto his old wings, implying that he will be returning as the new Falcon in the upcoming film Captain America 4.
