Warning: contains spoilers forStrange #1!
Marvel's new replacement for Doctor Strange comes across her first major enemy: a terrifying group who use both magic and technology as weapons. The death of Stephen Strange has left Marvel's magical community in disarray as chaos reigns in the aftermath of a power vacuum. Strange #1 depicts the replacement of the Sorcerer Supreme as she fights the brutal Blasphemy Cartel and their rule-breaking 'magitech' — and she must use horrifying tactics to win.
The Death of Doctor Strange event both began and ended with the titular sorcerer's demise. At the moment of the Sorcerer Supreme's first death, an earlier version of Strange appeared to investigate his own murder (the creation of said time remnant was a contingency plan on Strange's part). Strange's wife Clea is the new Sorcerer Supreme, and she must deal with all of Doctor Strange's old enemies and her brand-new ones.
