Masked Singer: Jordan Mailata Considering Music Career After Reveal
During a double elimination on The Masked Singer, Thingamabob was revealed as athlete Jordan Mailata, and now the Philadelphia Eagles player is considering a music career. The contestant was beloved by fans and panelists all season long with his incredible singing voice and adorable costume. The performer was a part of Team Cuddly and showed off his versatile performing skills with upbeat covers like «Classic» by MKTO and stripped-down covers like Ed Sheeran's «Perfect.» The latter performance was so powerful that it even brought panelist Ken Jeong to tears as he credited the moment as one of the reasons he does the show.
While fans were speculating Jordan may be behind the Thingamabob costume, the panelists' guesses were very off. Robin Thicke was positive the contestant was Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, while Ken Jeong thought it could be Australian actor and former husband of Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth. Some of Thingamabob's clues included an eagle, a Hotel California ornament and shields. All the clues pointed to his role as an offensive tackle on the Philadelphia Eagles. Upon his unmasking, host Nick Cannon expressed his shock that an NFL player could have such strong vocals. The football player even confessed that he's been singing his whole life and was a singer before he was an athlete.
