The Masked Singer's Hydra costume is making its second appearance during the show's fifth episode, and panelist Jenny McCarthy has a pretty childish guess for who is inside the costume. Jenny thinks the elaborate costume is hiding Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie. Hydra's debut was the most anticipated of the season as it was the show's first three-headed monster costume, and fans were impressed by its size and features. The large costume blows smoke out of its heads and is so big that the contestants have to get inside of it on stage instead of in their dressing room. Last week, the panelists were sure they heard Martin Short's voice and guessed that Martin, Steve Martin and Chevy Chase were inside the costume due to an «ask your amigos» clue they thought pointed to the trio's 1986 film, Three Amigos!
If Jenny's guess is correct, the pair would mark the second appearance of Sesame Street characters on the show. During the Masked Singer season 5 premiere, Kermit The Frog was revealed to be hiding behind the Snail costume. The famous member of The Muppets performed «You Make My Dreams» by Hall & Oates and threw panelists for a loop with his reveal. While Robin Thicke thought the contestant could be comedian and talk show host Jay Leno, Nicole Scherzinger leaned towards a different late-night host, Jimmy Kimmel. When Kermit was revealed, the panelists and fans were shocked but thrilled to see him. Ken Jeong even called him the most famous celebrity to appear on the show.
