The Masked Singer show creator is defending his choice to put Rudy Giuliani on the show despite fan outrage. In early February, news broke that Rudy Giuliani was revealed during filming for season 7 of the show, prompting panelists Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke to storm off stage in protest. It was later revealed that Ken was the one who was upset, and Robin followed him to make sure he was okay while Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained on stage. The initial story stated that Giuliani was revealed during the first day of filming for the season, so fans were confused when the former New York Mayor didn't appear in the show's season premiere. A lot of fans began to wonder if producers had cut his episode completely to avoid backlash. However, it was later confirmed that the politician will still be making his appearance, but The Masked Singer doesn't always air its episodes in the order that they filmed them. While his costume has been kept a secret, fans believe Giuliani will be appearing in the third group on the show and is likely in the Jack in the Box costume.
