The upcoming Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game will use a brand-new dice system to ensure that each hero's powers are balanced and engaging. The tabletop RPG, first announced back in June 2021, will let players become iconic Marvel characters or create their own original superhero. While Marvel crossover skins in Fortnitelet players become comic icons, the Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game will introduce the original d616 System to help sculpt a wholly original heroic adventure.
In recent years Marvel has placed emphasis on the gaming sphere, crafting interactive experiences where gamers embody their favorite heroes. Insomniac Games released Marvel's Spider-Man in 2018 and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales in 2o2o, with both games receiving massive praise as open-world masterworks. The single-player narrative-driven titles lets gamers embody Spider-Man through intense web-swinging, acrobatic combat and emotional storylines. While Marvel's Avengers was a disappointment, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was another beloved single-player game that adapted the outer space outlaws with authenticity, originality and heart. As Marvel fans cry for more interactive experiences, like perhaps a next-gen Incredible Hulk game, Matt Forbeck is preparing to deliver a tabletop version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
