Marvel is giving Spider-Man the Into the Spider-Verse reunion fans have been craving. Regarded as one of the best Spider-Man films ever made, Into the Spider-Verse delighted fans with its unique look at the Spider-Man mythos and in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #36, Miles Morales, the star of Into the Spider-Verse, is reunited with another Spider-Verse hero: Spider-Ham! The issue is on sale now in print and digital.
Released in 2019, Into the Spider-Verse brought not only Miles Morales into the mainstream, but also other Spider-Man variants, such as Spider-Gwen and Spider-Ham. The film was a glorious celebration of all things Spider-Man and gave mainstream audiences their first look at how deep his mythos truly is, and the result made household names out of what had originally been niche characters. The film was a hit with both fans and critics, and a sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, is on the horizon. Since the movie’s release, fans have been anxious for a reunion, and now in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #36, their patience pays off, as Miles finds himself face to face with Spider-Ham. The issue is written by Saladin Ahmed, illustrated by Christopher Allen, inks by Allen, Victor Olazaba and Scott Hanna, colored by David Curiel and lettered by Cory Petit and Ariana Maher.
