A parody poster for Avatar: The Way of Water replaces the new Na'vi character with an ogre from Shrek. Dreamworks' fairy tale satire starred Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), Cameron Diaz (Fiona), and John Lithgow (Lord Farquad). Shrek was followed by three sequels, two spinoffs about Puss in Boots, several short films, and even a 4-D experience at Universal Studios. Shrek was well-received upon release and won an Academy Award in 2002 for Best Animated Feature.
Avatar was also incredibly successful back in 2009 and is currently still the highest-grossing movie of all time. James Cameron is finally releasing the follow-up, Avatar: The Way of Water, 13 years after its predecessor. Plot details about the sequel are mostly under wraps, although Avatar 2 has been hyped by Cameron and his crew for its mind-blowing special effects and underwater action sequences. Just recently, 20th Century Studios released the first trailer and poster for Avatar: The Way of Water, revealing the return of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), new creatures, and different Pandora environments.
