Since the Pokemon franchise is so popular, it has a lot of merchandise available for fans and the general public to buy. A recent fan shared a live-action video they made on Reddit that's titled «The world of Pokemon featuring our vintage Tomy figures.» As the title suggests, the video uses plenty of Takara Tomy Pokemon action figures as stand-ins for the Pokemon.

The live-action video was made by Reddit user Jake44434 and posted in the Pokemon subreddit a couple of days ago. The video is a little over a minute, but it makes good use of that time to set itself up as an opening in a documentary style about exploring the world of Pokemon. The video is narrated by a character in the video named «Professor Owen,» not to be confused with the character Professor Rowan from the franchise. The video has a light-hearted and comical tone to it as it shows off various Pokemon figures with some humor here and there.
The video features plenty of different Pokemon from the different regions in the video games.
