With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet getting a second trailer just a week ago, fans are now expecting more news to come over the summer months, which is usually when the reveal cycle is richer for Pokemon games that release during the Holiday Season. The June trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, however, did include several new critters and showcased features like the multiplayer experience, which allows up to four trainers to explore the world together. Five new Gen 9 Pokemon were revealed in the trailer, with three of them being what look like critters from the early areas and two being the new box Legendaries.
A lot of Pokemon fans were immediately drawn towards Lechonk, a new hog Pokemon that likely has the most meme-friendly name in the whole franchise, but other big contenders were the Legendary Koraidon and Miraidon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are probably getting a lot more creatures and features than what has been shown thus far, but an interesting detail in Koraidon and Miraidon's aesthetic makes them great candidates for the evolution system introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon. In fact, it's not far-fetched to think that Koraidon and Miraidon will evolve from a unique Pokemon.
