Today, 2K Games and Firaxis announced the release date for Blood Storm, the fourth and final DLC coming to Marvel's Midnight Suns.
As hinted by the DLC's title, the star of the expansion is Storm, the mutant whose real name is Ororo Munroe. Raised in a small Kenyan village by a local priestess after losing her mother, Storm eventually helped save that village from an extended drought by using her newfound weather-controlling powers to cause much-needed rain.
Later in her life, Storm was recruited by Professor Xavier and later came to lead the X-Men. Her personal story in Marvel's Midnight Suns begins when she went with Wolverine looking for a hunted mutant child in New York City. The mutant Magik (also known as Illyana Nikolaievna Rasputina) then persuades her to join the fledgling band of heroes.
Storm's recruiting mission, Hard Knock Life, will appear to players at different moments depending on their ownership of Marvel's Midnight Suns' second DLC, Redemption (the one that added Venom to the game). Players without said DLC will receive the mission after they've finished the Spidermaaaans mission in Act 1, though it'll stay greyed out until the mission The Best There Is is completed. On the other hand, players who own the Redemption DLC will have to wait to get Storm until the beginning of Act 2, more specifically after the mission The Changing Face of Evil.
Blood Storm lands on Tuesday, May 11th. As with the previous DLCs, it can be purchased separately at $14.99 or as part of the full Season Pass, priced at $49.99.
On the same day, 2K Games and Firaxis are also releasing Marvel's Midnight Suns on previous generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), and all of the previously released DLCs will be available for
