The MCU has added yet another star to its ranks with the addition of Devery Jacobs to the cast of Echo. Jacobs has most recently appeared in the Disney+ series Reservation Dogs but will now be joining the Marvel series in a yet unnamed role.
Echo is one of the latest series that is going to be coming to Disney+ over the next few years. The series stars Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as a deaf Native American superhero who has the talent to imitate any fighting style she sees. The character was introduced as a villain during the six-episode run of Hawkeye. However, she's expected to leave a life of crime behind when the new show launches.

Deadline reports that Jacobs has come on board the MCU show though the details about who she is going to be playing are a bit sketchy. It's said that the Reservation Dogs star is going to be playing one of the leads named Julie. The description for the character is said to be strong-willed and resilient.
Devery Jacobs is currently one of the leads on the Taika Waititi and Sterlin Harjo’s popular comedy series that appears on both Disney+ and FX. For her role as Elora Danan, the actress earned a 2021 Gotham Award nomination for Outstanding Performance in a New Series. Not only is she one of the big up-and-coming actresses on television this year but she's also going to be adding some writing chops to her resume as she'll be working on the scripts for the upcoming Season 2.
