Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Casts Enterprise's First Captain
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds casts Adrian Holmes as Robert April, the first captain of the Enterprise. Holmes is known for his work on the 2022 reboot Bel-Air where he plays Uncle Phil, as well as his recurring role on The CW's Arrow. Other cast members on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds include Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will follow Captain Pike (Mount) as he leads the starship Enterprise to explore new worlds throughout the galaxy, a decade before the events of Star Trek: The Original Series. Characters such as Spock (Peck) and Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) from The Original Series will appear as lead characters. Star Trek: Strange New Worldsis set to be more episodic than its contemporaries like Star Trek: Discovery, with a more standalone structure and less continuity between episodes similar to The Original Series and The Next Generation.
