Marvel Just Secretly Teased Why Jane Becomes Mighty Thor In Love & Thunder

Moon Knight episode 6 may have subtly teased how Jane Foster becomes Mighty Thor in Thor: Love & Thunder. Hela destroyed Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok, but Thor's enchanted hammer is returning in the hands of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster. In director Taika Waititi's upcoming MCU installment, Foster will be transformed into the Mighty Thor, sharing the power of the Odinson as she helps him in battle against Gorr the God-Butcher.
The Thor: Love & Thunder trailer showed a brief glimpse of Thor's hammer, and it's clear Mjolnir is held together by a web of energy contained within it. This seems to indicate an enchantment of some kind is active — either one associated with the power of Thor himself, or else the worthiness enchantment cast by Odin, which could easily have continued on after his death. Marvel is currently avoiding revealing any details about how Mjolnir could repair — even tie-in merchandise simply refers to it being "mysteriously" restored — but Moon Knight episode 6 may well have offered an important clue.

Moon Knight episode 6 subtly revealed exactly how its gods are powered. The season finale saw Moon Knight and Arthur Harrow go head-to-head at last, even as Khonshu battled Ammit as well. Surprisingly, Ammit was much more powerful than Khonshu — and a single line of dialogue explained why. Ammit leers, "Oh, Khonshu, for a god, you are low on faith," - a nod to a classic fantasy trope where the gods are essentially in a symbiotic relationship with humans, empowered by their faith.
