Marvel's What It...? was a controversial point in Marvel's Phase 4 and the MCU should look to correct some of the multiverse show's failings with another animated show based on Marvel Team-Up. A series based on the classic crossover comic provides an opportunity to correct what many considered to be What If...? not living up to its potential. It could avoid the pitfalls of What If...?'s narrative structure and get around that show's reliance on familiarity with MCU lore. In total, it'd be a smart move to turn around the mistakes of its predecessor.
Marvel Team-Up was the most well-known of several different books published by the comic book juggernaut that would feature two heroes joining forces. The initial run went on for 150 issues between 1972 and 1985, featuring Spider-Man as the headlining character in the vast majority of its stories. Another similar series, Marvel Two-in-One had a similar premise, except featured The Thing as the headlining hero, running from 100 issues from 1975 to 1983. These crossover comics acted as a fantastic marketing tool to get lesser-known characters some clout by having them work alongside massively successful ones. A tactic the MCU could absolutely use.

A Marvel Team-Up style series that takes place within the MCU but is not reliant upon MCU lore would allow for the introduction of new, lesser-known heroes to the MCU proper without having to clash with the films or other Disney+ series. WhatIf...? was heavily tied up in MCU lore. While it made its tweaks to that lore, the majority of the ideas in the series came from tweaking pivotal moments within the MCU's canon.
