With the first three waves of its Booster Course Pass, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has added 24 tracks to its impressive selection over the course of the last year, and soon, Wave 4 will be arriving as well. Previously confirmed for a Spring 2023 launch, Nintendo has now announced that Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass will launch on March 9.
Like previous waves, Wave 4 will bring another eight tracks to the racer. One of these will be an entirely new track, called Yoshi’s Island, while Birdo will also be added as a playable character.
Meanwhile, three of the remaining seven new tracks will be remastered versions of tracks from Mario Kart Tour (Amsterdam Drift, Singapore Speedway, and Bangkok Rush), and one each from Mario Kart Wii (DK’s Snowboard Cross), Mario Kart: Double Dash (Waluigi Stadium), Mario Kart DS (Mario Circuit), and Mario Kart: Super Circuit (Riverside Park). Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what their remastered versions look like.
Two more Waves are left in the Booster Course Pass following the launch of Wave 4, totaling 16 tracks, with both waves set to launch before the end of the year.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available on Nintendo Switch.
