In the new Super Mario Bros. Wonder Direct, we got a glimpse at a whole bunch of elephant-ified characters. Daisy, Peach, Luigi, and even Toad are putting on their trunks and crushing everything in their path. Then there's Yoshi.

Mario might've saved Princess Peach god-knows-how-many times, but he'll never wash the blood of all those Yoshi's off his hands.
Granted, this time, Yoshi isn't being hurled into an abyss (as far as we know) just to make jumps easier, but he is suffering under the weight of a literal elephant three times his size. It ain't easy being Yoshi.
