Apple iPhone 14 is set to launch on September 7 and the rumour mills around next year's iPhone 15 have already started working overtime. A few weeks back, several reports suggested that Apple will be producing the new iPhone 14 in India, soon after its launch. Now, famous Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has come up with a new claim that Apple may manufacture the iPhone 15 series at the same time next year in India as well as China. That will come as a big boost for manufacturing industry in India. Moreover, the report also suggested the reduced gap in the upcoming iPhone 14 production schedule between India and China.
Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted, "The iPhone 14's mass production schedule in India this year is still about six weeks behind China, but the gap has improved significantly. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that India and China will be able to produce the new iPhone 15 at the same time next year.” It is worth noting that, previously, it was predicted that Apple will start the production of the upcoming iPhone 14 series in India two months after its arrival. Now, it seems like the iPhone 14 will go under the manufacturing process in India two weeks before the earlier prediction.
Ming-Chi Kuo further suggested that India's iPhone shipments still have a considerable gap with China. However, this latest development in the manufacturing of iPhone in India is an important milestone for Apple to stage a non-Chinese iPhone production site.
Apart from the expected production start of the iPhone 15, a latest report suggested that Apple may use the new and advanced 3nm mobile processor based on N3E technology. It is said to become the fastest smartphone next year. Moreover, the iPhone 15 is expected to ditch Apple's lightning port
