It has not even been a full week since Apple launched its latest flagship, the iPhone 14 series at its “Far out” event held at the Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple Park in California. The Cupertino-based tech giant announced four new iPhone models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, alongside 3 new Apple watches and Airpods Pro 2. the iPhones offer some flagship features such as new notch design and always-on display.
The Pro variants of the iPhone 14 series are powered by the new A16 Bionic processor which promises 40 percent better performance than the competition. Apple also announced that all iPhones have “all-day battery life”, although the company did not provide the figures. However, MacRumors has revealed battery figures for the whole iPhone 14 lineup. MacRumors noticed the listing on a Chinese regulatory database website.
iPhone 14 - 3,279 mAh
iPhone 14 Plus - 4,325 mAh
iPhone 14 Pro - 3,200 mAh
iPhone 14 Pro Max - 4,323 mAh
Interestingly, this regulatory database provided the accurate figures for last year's iPhone 13 series as well. As expected, the iPhone 14 Plus has the highest battery capacity after Apple claimed it had the longest battery life ever of any iPhone. The iPhone 14 Plus boasts of the same specs as the standard iPhone 14 but with a larger 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are powered by last year's A15 Bionic, although Apple has claimed they have improved the thermal efficiency, which should lead to less heating and better battery efficiency.
The pre-bookings for the iPhone 14 series have already started from September 9 at 5:30 pm IST and Apple will make the smartphone available in stores starting September 16.
