Microsoft has updated its Xbox Game Pass subscription service yet again, this time to remove 10 games as well as add a new day one release. Xbox Game Pass adds new games to the lineup on a regular basis, but it also removes games as well, typically on the 15th of every month and on the last day of every month. Today is September 30, the last day of September, and so today is the last day Game Pass subscribers will be able to play some of the service's games before they're removed.
In total, 10 games are leaving Xbox Game Pass today, which is more titles than usual. Anyone interested in playing AI: The Somnium Files, Astria Ascending, Dandy Ace, Going Under, Lemnis Gate, Slime Rancher, Subnautica: Below Zero, The Procession to Cavalry, Unsighted, and Visage should still be able to play them until the end of the day. Obviously most gamers will need more than a day to play through a game in its entirety, but it should be noted that these games are available at a 20% discount while they're still on Game Pass. This way, fans can at least try before they buy if they stumble on something that they really enjoy.

And while it's definitely a bummer that 10 games are leaving Xbox Game Pass today, the good news is at least one of those games is getting a replacement of sorts. Slime Rancher 2 is available now through Game Pass as an early access release. So fans of the original Slime Rancher that have been playing the game through Game Pass and are sad to see it go can check out the sequel with their subscription.
