The next game from the Like a Dragon series developer Ryu Ga Gotoku will be revealed in over two months.
As reported today by VGC, the Japanese development studio confirmed it will reveal its next game during this year's Tokyo Game Show, which will be held from September 26th until September 29th at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. Previously, the studio teased that this game would surprise fans, so it will be very interesting to see what the studio has come up with to make their game so.
In some ways, the latest main entries in the Like a Dragon series surprised fans of the franchise, as they did away with the brawler combat system featured in the vast majority of the series, replacing it with a turn-based combat system. The brawler combat system, however, wasn't put to the side entirely, as it was featured in the Judgment series, as well as in the spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which brought Kazuma Kiryu back as the sole protagonist.
The latest entry in the series is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. You can learn more about the game, now out on PC and consoles, by checking out Kai's review.
