FromSoftware fans are officially done waiting for Bloodborne on PC and as a result have made their own version out of the recently released Lies of P demo.
Anyone familiar with the likes of Elden Ring and Dark Souls will immediately notice similarities between Lies of P and FromSoftware's library of RPGs, Bloodborne in particular.
From its gothic architecture to its animations to its simple red health bars, Lies of P is reminiscent of the beloved PlayStation 4 game, and PC modders clearly took notice by turning the demo into the long requested Bloodborne on PC.
As reported by PCGamesN, modder Garden of Eyes released gameplay of the demo altered to include Bloodborne's Hunter character model replacing its own Pinocchio. Beyond that, weapons and armour from Bloodborne were added.
The mod opens with the player getting to choose between a handful of Bloodborne weapons like the Saw Cleaver and even Ludwig's Holy Blade. The player then visits the mean streets of Krat to take on all manner of nasty beasties.
Though first announced in May 2021, Lies of P got an extended look at Summer Game Fest 2023, the aforementioned demo, alongside a new release date of September 19.
In our preview of the game, IGN said: "Even if Pinocchio's story in Lies of P isn’t being manipulated by cosmic old gods that turn people into slugs, the attention to detail in recapturing Bloodborne’s magic has got [our] full attention."
Ryan Dinsdale is an IGN freelance reporter. He'll talk about The Witcher all day.
