The Suicide Squad's Ratcatcher 2 actress Daniela Melchior officially joins the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 cast. James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy plans were delayed a few years ago when Disney fired him. The third film has been in development since 2017 and sees Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana's Gamora, Dave Bautista's Drax, and many others return. The official cast list for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 does include some DC crossover, as Chukwudi Iwuji joined as a major mystery character after working on the Suicide Squad 2 spinoff show, Peacemaker. Beyond his confirmed involvement, the only other new cast member for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has been Will Poulter as Adam Warlock.
