is known for his work across many popular film franchises, including the worlds of Alien and Terminator. With two new projects existing in those worlds on the horizon, Cameron talked briefly about his involvement.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Cameron was asked about his thoughts on the upcoming Alien: Romulus. Cameron acknowledged he had seen the film, but said he didn’t have as much creative input as people think, as he doesn’t know director Fede Álvarez all that well.

As far as Terminator goes, Cameron also gave his thoughts on Netflix‘s upcoming anime adaptation Terminator Zero. The legendary filmmaker said it looks “interesting,” and that he’s curious to see how a show like that interprets the world of Terminator.

I’d be curious to see what they’ve come up with. I’m working on my own Terminator stuff right now. It’s got nothing to do with that. Like with The Sarah Connor Chronicles, they occasionally touched on things I had been playing with completely independently. So there’s some curiosity there. It’s not a burning curiosity, but, obviously, it’d be nice to see it succeed.”
