Marvel's Iron Man deserves to burn in hell for his many murders, according to Ghost Rider, and the 'Rider has a point. Before becoming a superhero and eventual Avenger, Tony Stark was a famous weapons manufacturer, arms dealer, and arguably one of the biggest war profiteers in the Marvel Universe. Now Devil's Reign: Superior Four #1 suggests that it isn't enough for Tony Stark to atone for his sins through his heroic acts — he must die.
In Devil's Reign, Mayor Wilson Fisk has effectively outlawed all superheroes operating within New York City...while also allowing supervillains to work for him and do his bidding. Doctor Octopus, one of Marvel's top geniuses, decides to acquire Reed Richards' Forever Gate to explore new universes and find three other variants of himself from alternate realities: Otto Banner (with the powers of the Hulk), Otto Blaze (with the powers of Ghost Rider), and Otto Howlett (a mutant with Wolverine's abilities). All three variants have the eight-legged appearance characteristic of the original Otto — and his intellect and ego as well.

The four decide to use the Bridge to travel through the multiverse to find out if they are indeed superior — and force the issue if that's not the case. Otto Blaze warns the other three Octopi that "...an immoral soul" has noticed their presence — and immediately after, the group is attacked by an Iron Man variant calling himself the Iron Scab. The group makes short work of the alternate Armored Avenger, but Otto Blaze senses the Iron Scab's murders. He burns his armor to a crisp, shouting«Countless souls beneath this world crave vengeance
