The journey of Matt Murdock is far from over as a teaser for Daredevil's new saga implies the worst is yet to come. Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto's run has put Matt through the ringer, forcing him to face some harsh truths about himself and his mission as the Man Without Fear. In the wake of Devil's Reign, Matt will have to fight on at any cost when old enemies reappear to turn the heat up on Daredevil.
The recent run of Daredevil kicked off with Matt accidentally killing a man on a routine night on patrol. The guilt ate Murdock alive until he decided it was best to come clean and atone for his sins by serving time in prison. His stint while imprisoned changed the way Matt saw the justice system, making him realize how much he had contributed to the suffering of the world by participating in a corrupt and punitive system. Now, Matt is out, just as Mayor Wilson Fisk declares war on New York's vigilantes, but even once Devil's Reign is over, writer Chip Zdarsky is hinting Daredevil will continue to turn up the heat.

The first being the "Know Fear" teaser from 2018 that shows Daredevil's mask lit up with a small fire. The second image shows the helm fully engulfed in flames with the text "Call Fire Down." The new teaser announces the June 2022 start date for the new volume of Daredevil, as well as the addition of color artist Marcio Menyz to the creative team. Text at the white-hot bottom of the fire simply reads "The Red Fist Saga Begins."
