Warning: SPOILERS for The Book of Boba Fett.
The Book of Boba Fett fixes a longtime Star Wars problem, but it's not the issue fans wanted Disney to explain. Boba Fett rose to popularity through a minor role in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back, but the bounty hunter then had an embarrassing exit in 1983's Return of the Jedi, falling into a Sarlacc pit. In addition, with the trailers often showing Boba Fett trying to control Jabba the Hutt's kingdom, the actual show was a departure from even the marketing.
