A fan poster for The Book of Boba Fettcombines all of the flashbacks seen from Boba's childhood in the Disney+ series. Boba Fett first appeared in live-action in The Empire Strikes Back with Jeremy Bulloch behind the helmet. Daniel Logan then took over the character in Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones, playing a young version of the iconic bounty hunter. Temuera Morrison played Jango Fett in the second prequel but made a grand entrance in The Mandalorianseason 2 as an older Boba Fett.
Even though later episodes of The Book of Boba Fett focused on Din Djarin, early episodes revealed how Boba escaped the Sarlacc Pit and what he had been doing since the events of Return of the Jedi. The first few episodes showed Boba Fett training with Tusken Raiders and also featured flashbacks taking place during the prequel era. Finnegan Garay was cast as a body double for young Boba, meaning Disney is likely using the same technology to de-age Logan as they did with Mark Hamill.
