Notorious bounty hunter, Cad Bane, recently made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett, but this fan-favorite Clone Wars character has only been playable in a few Star Wars video games. The menacing bounty hunter was trained by Jango Fett and eventually rose to become one of the most feared criminals in the galaxy, and was also partially inspired by Lee Van Cleef's portrayal of Angel Eyes in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Now that he's made the move from animation to live-action, it's worth revisiting the character's playable video game appearances and how he's been portrayed in them.
Hailing from the planet Duro, Cad Bane rose to prominence as a blaster-for-hire before the events of the prequel trilogy and was mentored by Jango Fett himself before taking Jango's place as the best of the Bounty Hunters during the Clone Wars. Bane even mentored his son, Boba Fett (which would be great to see in a new canon Star Wars game), and attempted to kidnap Omega, the only female clone of the Fett lineage, in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Bane's history is inextricably linked with the Fetts, so it should come as no surprise that the majority of Bane's gaming appearances have also come in titles that have featured Jango and Boba.
