Boba Fett's Disney+ show recently wrapped up in a way that both paid off the rest of the series and showed that The Book of Boba Fett season 2 doesn't need to happen and that Star Wars should end his solo story. First teased at the end of The Mandalorian season 2, The Book of Boba Fett promised to finally give the fan-favorite bounty hunter his due. Thankfully, despite initially drawing a fair share of criticism for seemingly minimizing its main character, The Book of Boba Fett delivered a great episode at the end.
The Book of Boba Fett finale was a jam-packed affair that centered around the battle for control of Mos Espa. Boba Fett rallied the allies he had made throughout the course of the series, while the Pyke syndicate employed their greater numbers and bounty hunter Cad Bane to impressive effect. By the end, what at times felt like a glorified prologue for The Mandalorian season 3 did turn out to be a fitting outing for Boba Fett himself. It's arguably not enough to overcome the larger issues with the series, but the season 1 finale offered a great stopping point for the titular character's story.

Although the success of The Book of Boba Fett's finale may leave viewers wanting more Fett, it also serves as a more than fitting final sendoff for the character. The show centered around Boba Fett's identity in a galaxy where he is no longer a bounty hunter, and it ended with Fett getting exactly what he wished for.
