The Book of Boba Fetthas taken an abrupt turn from the bounty hunter's story, and the development reveals Star Wars' plans. Temuera Morrison's Boba Fett returns to Star Wars in The Book of Boba Fett, and the Disney+ series reveals Boba Fett's past and present journey. Flashback scenes show Boba Fett's struggle to survive his fall into the Sarlacc from 1983's Return of the Jedi and how he eventually befriends Tusken Raiders after escaping. The present-day scenes reveal the former bounty hunter's quest to become the new crime lord on Tatooine. But, despite the series title, the show isn't only about Boba Fett.
Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) makes appearances in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5 and episode 6. In episode 5, the Mandalorian returns to Tatooine, looking to replace his Razor Crest with a new ship from Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris). During the episode, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) also recruits Mando to fight for Boba Fett against the Pykes. In episode 6, Mando attempts to deliver Baby Yoda-sized Mandalorian armor to Grogu, but he learns that his presence could distract from Grogu's training with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). So he leaves the armor with Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and heads back to Tatooine to help Boba Fett.

The Book of Boba Fett reveals Star Wars' plans in its latest episodes. Though the series is supposedly about Boba Fett, the bounty hunter doesn't appear in episode 5 and only makes a brief appearance in episode 6.
