The Steam Deck is on the verge of release for those who were first in line to pre-order the mobile gaming system. However, many still waiting in the wings might be wondering how many of their games will actually work on the device, and now it's possible to find out.
Valve has been hard at work testing the numerous games on its platform in order to check compatibility with the Steam Deck. While Steam has said that the majority of games should work, fans will likely want to know for themselves what games they already own that will be perfect for the device.

Steam users can now accomplish this by logging into their Steam accounts. In the Steam Deck section of the site, users can enter their login information and see a breakdown of every game in their library, divided into one of four categories, determined by how well the game functions on the portable device.
The first category is Steam Deck Verified games, which are games that Valve itself has verified to work flawlessly with the device. Users can expect to download and boot up any game defined as such without needing to make tweaks or modifications to it. The second category is Deck Playable games, which Valve has verified will work on the device, but may require some adjustments by the user. The third category is unsupported games, which have been confirmed to not function on the device at this time. However, the developers of said games could still make changes on their side to fix this, but it's up to each individual developer or publisher.
