Life simulation game inZOI will feature official mod support at launch, developer KRAFTON announced in partnership with Overwolf-owned mod repository CurseForge. Additionally, a limited-time play of the game’s character creator, inZOI: Character Studio, will be available for PC via Steam from August 21 to 26.
As part of the partnership, Overwolf will work with KRAFTON to identify Early Access modders to create content ahead of the game’s release and build a curated space for inZOI mods, which will be hosted on CurseForge.
“inZOI is committed to encouraging easier mod creation and artistic expression from players,” said inZOI producer and director Hyungjun Kim in a press release. “By partnering with CurseForge, we are providing a dedicated platform for inZOI mods, ensuring that our community has the best tools and resources to bring their creative visions to life. This collaboration reflects our dedication to fostering a vibrant modding community within inZOI.”
Overwolf CEO Uri Marchand added, “User-generated content is the present and the future of gaming, driven by a community of passionate creators and players who want to shape their experiences and make gameplay their own. inZOI is the perfect environment for UGC to thrive and we are thrilled to partner with KRAFTON to provide safe, curated modding experiences into highly anticipated inZOI from launch.”
