Earn a Classic Sunny Tabard through the Kroger Rewards Program
Alongside several other ongoing promotions, the Kroger brand of grocery and department stores is offering World of Warcraft players a Classic Sunny Tabard through their rewards program, or for free by playing two levels of their Mario-like coinquest browser game!
For those outside the US or simply not interested in buying any groceries, Wowhead commenter Sluimerstand found an alternative method of acquiring the tabard with no purchase necessary! The coinquest game plays just like classic Mario, and completing two levels takes all of about two minutes to accomplish.
* Technically one of the terms you agree to is that you are a US citizen, but the same conditions apply to claiming any of the Trolli pet or tabard codes. It means they have the right to mark the code as null and void, but I personally don't see this being enforced.
1) Go to https://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/ and sign up for an account.
2) Go to https://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/coinquest-game and play 2 levels of the game; or wait 1 hour after signing up for the points rewards program and refer a friend.
3) Claim a tabard code from here: https://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/rewards
4) Redeem the code in your Battle.net client by clicking on your nickname in the top-right, clicking Redeem Code, and entering the code you claimed.
You can claim multiple tabard codes if you have enough points, so if you have a friend who can't access the website (it seems a little spotty), you can help them out!
Although it says 500 points, you actually get 900 per level, allowing you to then redeem the tabard.
To earn the tabard through spending, sign up for Kroger's Points Rewards Plus program and exchange 1,500 points, which can be earned by spending $30 on a wide range of participating products, after which the tabard can be immediately redeemed.
