Fresh Meat! Zekvir Has A Chance to Randomly Spawn in Delves (And Wreck Your Day)
Zekvir, the Hand of the Harbinger, is the final «secret boss» of Delves, located inside Zekvir's Lair in Azj-Kahet. Zekvir is the final challenge players will face in Delves, hidden behind his very own lair — But unlucky adventurers might encounter him a little earlier while trekking the underground!
Unsuspecting players have encountered Zekvir in normal Delve runs, spawning out of nowhere in the middle of encounters — People who have played Diablo IV may be familiar to this, as the Butcher spawns at random in dungeons there as well!
As of right now, Zekvir has been confirmed to spawn in Delves as low as Tier 4, and will use his usual abilities, such as Claw Smash (a frontal cone attack that stuns you) and Horrendous Roar (an AOE fear around him that deals massive damage).
Most players will be caught by surprise by Zekvir, but the result is always the same — When Zekvir either kills your entire group or is damaged down to 30% health, he will burrow down into the ground and leave the Delve, leaving a Hulking Raptorial Claw behind. The claw will drop rare Delve loot such as Radiant Echo, Delver's Bounty (scale to the Delve level you're in) and Zekvir's exclusive relic for Brann, Relicblood of Zekvir! Getting killed by Zekvir also grants the achievement Heavy-Handed.
