In a major change for Mythic+, the new line of invisibility potions in The War Within no longer share a cooldown with combat potions, allowing them to be used in either order without locking out the other!
Note the Treading Lightly effect from Draught of Silent Footfalls active at the same time as a combat potion.
This allows players to use the new Draught of Silent Footfalls without incurring the shared lockout period on Tempered Potion, or the other way around, with combat potions no longer preventing players from then turning invisible — a great change for less coordinated groups that unexpectedly suggest a skip right after others in their group used a damage potion.
There is a downside however, as the Draught of Silent Footfalls has a 10-minute cooldown, up from 5 minutes in Dragonflight.
Invisible, but still ready to fight!
This change is not retroactive to the Pre-Patch, however, wherein using a current invisibility potion like the Potion of the Hushed Zephyr will still place your Elemental Potion of Ultimate Power on cooldown and vice-versa.
