Intel has rolled out its latest Arc graphics driver 5444 which adds new game fixes and brings more DX11 game performance uplifts for GPUs.
Intel's graphics driver updates are known to feature some big performance uplifts for several games. Whether you see them as fixing the broken performance in certain older titles or simply adding more performance, they are there for gamers to enjoy.
As part of its new Arc Game On 5444 (Non-WHQL) driver package, the blue team brings fixes for No Rest for the Wicked, Assetto Corsa, Halo Infinite, & Diablo IV.
Another key update in the latest Arc A-Series and Arc iGPU driver package is the new "Software & Driver Uninstaller) which can be accessed from the Windows "Add or Remove Programs" tab. This is said to allow users a more thorough & customizable uninstallation experience similar to how NVIDIA and AMD GPU driver packages let users remove entire or specific components of the graphics driver.
Regarding performance optimizations, Intel has boosted performance across multiple DX11 titles. For the Intel Arc A-Series GPUs (Discrete Xe-HPG) family, you are looking at up to 36% performance uplifts in games such as Need For Speed: Heat while Intel's Arc iGPUs for Core Ultra CPUs (Xe-LPG) also receive a 48% improvement in titles such as Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
