MachineGames and Bethesda showed off a deeper look at during Thursday’s Xbox Developer Direct presentation.
In the first Indiana Jones and the Great Circle trailer, players are treated to a brief look at the story of the game, which will see Indiana Jones looking to solve the mystery of why several significant religious structures seem to be connected.
The trailer also shows off some of the gameplay for the title, including stealth sections, fighting enemies with Indy’s whip, and solving puzzles on your adventure. Some of the bigger action setpieces in the game were also teased, with the trailer ending with Indiana Jones leaping between flying planes in what looked to be a big battle sequence.

According to MachineGames and Bethesda, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will take place between 1981’s Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, which takes place in 1936, and 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which is set in 1938.
The model for Indy is also made to resemble Harrison Ford, the actor who played the iconic role in every film. While not Ford’s actual voice, it seems like a soundalike has been used to make Jones seem even more like the movie version.
Currently, no official release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been revealed, with MachineGames announcing that the game will be released sometime later in 2024 for the Xbox and PC.
