A new leaked ability for Mydei in 3.1 has emerged and, while the majority of his gameplay kit seems somewhat interesting, this specific aspect may be extremely disappointing for players. Mydei (or Mydeimos) is one of the characters confirmed for Version 3.1, alongside Tribbie. The character is still a while away from being released seeing that the turn-based RPG by HoYoverse is still set to enter Version 3.0. The update will introduce several Amphoreus characters in as NPCs as the Astral Express crew members make their way to the new destination.
The update will only add one new playable character from Amphoreus: Aglaea. In Version 3.1, however, both Mydei and Tribbie should be released as playable units. It is uncertain if they will first appear as NPCs in Version 3.0 or if their debuts will also happen in Version 3.1. Nevertheless, there is already some information about these characters. Mydei is an upcoming 5-star Imaginary character on the Path of the Destruction. Based on Mydei’s leaked kit in , he will operate as a powerful DPS and tank for team comps, but it seems like he has a problem.
According to information provided by the leaker known as Shiroha, which was shared in a post tagged as “” on Reddit, Mydei’s Skill and Enhanced Skill will not consume skill points but, on the downside, the character will automatically select the target the ability will hit. The leaker compares this system to automatic combat, but to which extent it is used is unknown. Based on the wording chosen for the leak, it seems like players will still be able to choose between Mydei’s Basic Attack and Skill/Enhanced Skill, but will be stuck with an auto-target system in .
