Players may wonder if they should pull for Mydei in 3.1 if they already have access to Blade, thanks to leaks that highlight how the new character may operate in combat. Mydei, along with Tribbie, is confirmed to be a new playable unit arriving with Version 3.1. Mydei is a 5-star Imaginary character who follows the Path of the Destruction. This alone is enough to create speculations on his role as a possible DPS. However, the start of the Version 3.1 beta tests has also brought forth leaks, including details about Mydei’s kit in .
As a Destruction character, Mydei is already rumored to be somewhat similar to Blade in the sense that he should also be a main DPS unit in team comps. Aside from the similarities that stem from the Path they follow, Mydei and Blade may also be alike in the sense that they are both HP scalers. According to the aforementioned leaks about Mydei’s kit, which can be better seen on Honey Hunter World, the character is expected to deal damage to enemies based on his Max HP. His base HP may even be a bit higher than Blade’s. The leaks show that Mydei has 1,552 Max HP (at level 80), while Blade in has 1,358 Max HP (at level 80).
Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 may offer players a free 4-star character in an upcoming event, but the leaked selection of units is quite a disappointment.
Furthermore, the leaks about Mydei’s kit show that he constantly consumes his own HP to deal damage to opponents. This is something that Blade already does as part of his regular rotation, which sparks some doubts about just how similar they may be. Some of the rumors
