Most of them revolve around the abilities and gameplay mechanics of the new and confirmed characters, Robin and Boothill, though there have been plenty of mentions about the new Trailblazer form in leaks. Curiously enough, it seems like this version of the character, focused on supporting their teammates with buffs, will actually have a special ability that will be destructive to a boss in the upcoming patch. According to new information obtained by the leaker known as HomDGCat, shared in a post tagged as “” on Reddit, the new weekly boss fight expected to be added with Version 2.2 will see the special “” skill activated by the Trailblazer. For reference, this is the special type of boss-exclusive mechanic like Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae’s dragon attack against Phantylia in .
According to the description provided by HomDGCat, the name of the special skill will be called Long Note of the Distant Horizon, and, when activated, the new support Trailblazer will leap forward and attack the boss. If the previous leaks about the character’s type are true, then it is likely this attack will deal Imaginary DMG. Based on previous mechanics of the same nature, it is safe to assume that this will, indeed, be exclusive to that specific boss fight and that it will be an offensive move, helping the team take down the opponent’s shield in.
