Fortnite only just added the Yoda Backbling to the game last week and it's already been removed by Epic due to it causing crashes in Battle Royale matches.
Last week marked Star Wars Day and, as it usually does, Fortnite celebrated the occasion with a bunch of new items in the shop, a new weapon for Battle Royale matches, and some new events within Lego Fortnite. Although a lot of fans weren't too impressed with the event's content, there was at least one big highlight - Yoda becoming a Backbling.
That's right, if you coughed up enough V-Bucks then you had the chance to have a moving Yoda sit on the back of your Fortnite character just like he did with Luke in The Empire Strikes Back. Backblings usually aren't the highlight of a Fortnite store update, but this is one that fans had been requesting for some time.
Sadly, it looks like the Jedi Master's time on The Island has already come to an end for the time being. As highlighted by reliable Fortnite insider iFireMonkey, the Yoda Backbling has been disabled by Epic, which means that anyone who has purchased the item is currently unable to use it gets added back to the game.

"Due to an issue that may have been causing crashes for some players, we’ve temporarily disabled the Yoda Back Bling while the team is working on a fix."
Although Yoda being removed from the game temporarily does make sense considering the crashes it can cause, he isn't the only Star Wars event item that's been taken away from the store. Epic also announced that it had also removed Disassembled C-3PO and Dagobah Luke, although the reasoning behind those two getting the temporary axe hasn't been explained just yet.
