Although it's been several days since the beta kicked off, many details about the upcoming events, characters, and other content have already leaked.
One piece of information obtained from beta leaks has revealed that new Light Cones and relic sets will be available in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2. From energy regeneration to increased Break Effect, these items provide the wearer with various buffs when equipped. Besides weapons and relics, the upcoming update will reportedly add a new Cavern of Corrosion challenge, in which players will take on a formidable wave of enemies.
Recent leaks from Dimbreath and Scoopy have suggested that Honkai: Star Rail's update 2.2 will introduce new quality-of-life features, including the ability to mute the sound when the screen is minimized. As per leaks, players will be able to mute the sound when they alt + tab out of the game. This will be a welcome addition for auto farmers who often alt + tab when playing the space RPG. In addition to that, version 2.2 will bring a social feature showing players' activity status. Like Valorant and League of Legends, Honkai: Star Rail will display players' in-game status to their friends.
The full extent of this social feature is currently unknown, but the leak indicates it will display what game mode (Simulated Universe, Forgotten Hall) Trailblazers are currently playing.
